Swimsuit? Check. Sunblock? Check. Flight booked to a sunny destination? Check. Despite the 5% decrease in U.S. bookings compared to last year, Allianz Partners reports that domestic destinations still account for 68% of American’s summer itineraries. Holding strong in the top spot, Orlando is this year’s fan favorite. Seattle claims second for the third year in a row, while major cities like Boston, New York, Honolulu, Las Vegas and Los Angeles fill in the third through seventh place rankings. Travelers are also headed to Anchorage (eighth), Kahului (ninth) and Denver (tenth).
